Been getting a lot of calls from this number, (520) 720-0458, started back on about 19 Jun 2019. Frequency of calls have increased over the past few weeks. Must not be very important or a collection agency as the never leave a message.
I called the number and got a message. It never IDed the company, said my call was important please leave a message & if I wanted to be placed on their Do Not Call List leave the following detailed information & listed that information. That last part is telling me it is most likely a collection agency. I believe there was a recent law passed requiring them to tell you about their DNC list to stop their harassing calls they are so famous for.
Over the past 3 or 4 years I've been getting calls from collection agencies looking for my ex-wife. So I'm good at spotting the pattern of these collection agencies. After a while they run her name through Google and my name comes up as a spouse or possible relation. Even though we have been divorced since 1992. I wish there was a way to remove that information but I've not been able to find a way as yet. Eventually the collection agency idiots leave a message. At that point I call them and tell them we have been divorced X-Number of years now, I have no responsibilities for her actions, I haven't talked to that witch since the divorce and any information I have on her is extremely limited, I no longer care about her.
So far the people I've talked to have been "somewhat kind and understanding." They usually take my information and tell me that they will place that information in her file and I will not hear from them again and I don't. But in about 6 months to a year I start to get calls again from another agency that took over the debt and the process starts all over again. Evidently they do not pass my information along.
