Is this a number of some finance companies? They called and promised to provide Educational funds for my child. Is it safe?

It was probably a survey. I got a call today. They asked political and current events questions-- presidential candidates and the current concerns with gas prices. Totally appeared on the up-and-up. No unusually biased questions (it wasn't push polling). Area code and exchange number coincide with the phone numbers for the University.
